Our story
From Bill’s toolbox to today
Bill Hartley started Hartley Plumbing in 1987 after years on the tools with bigger firms. He wanted a small book of local customers he could look after properly — show up when he said he would, explain the bill, and leave the place cleaner than he found it.
Today the business is run by his son Tom Hartley (Master Plumber) and daughter-in-law Sarah, who keeps bookings, quotes, and landlord updates running smoothly. Bill still pops by the workshop some mornings with unsolicited advice about copper — and the occasional biscuit.
We’re not the biggest crew on the Northside. We’re the one that picks up the phone.
